Yeah. I was really happy to read this article written by Decapited Dan today:
“Best Ongoing: 28 Days Later
Yes, I do know that this series ended, but any other ongoing title would still have a hard time topping 28 Days Later on my list. For 2 years this book went strong as Michael Alan Nelson and a few artists bridged the gap between the 2 movies. And while it did end, it left the story wide open for so much more. So as I sit here and cross my fingers take a chance and check out what this series was able to accomplish.”

Working on 28DL was a great experience. A big learning process about how to deal with deadlines, pressures and tiredness.
You can like it or not, but you’d have to be sure that I gave everything I got (and the most people don’t know how hard a team or an artist has to work to wrap a monthly book)
It was a year of madness and happiness, but the best year of my life for sure.
I had the luck to meet very nice people like Ian Brill, Nolan Woodard, Michael Alan Nelson and many others… that was a big highlight.
I have to say that I find hard to see my own published stuff and enjoy it. But I am really proud about how everything turned out. It’s like that kind of feeling where the battle is over and you are still on your feet. No matter how, but you stand there, ready for the next battle.
Thanks so much to everyone supporting this book and all about BOOM! Studios. The real people that make all this possible.
Ale
